90-minute webinar, Thursday 10th October, 11am – 12:30pm
Overview
Eligibility rules for EEA nationals and family members who have not yet been granted settled status are particularly complex. The rules were intended to limit access to means-tested benefits to those applicants who have a ‘qualifying right to reside’. However, recent court decisions removed some of the restrictions allowing access to benefits to some applicants without a qualifying right to reside. This webinar looks at the most important case law developments and how we can challenge eligibility decisions.
Questions/topics covered
- What is the EU – UK Withdrawal Agreement and how does it affect eligibility?
- Who is within the scope of the Withdrawal Agreement?
