90-minute webinar, Thursday 11th April, 11am – 12:30pm

Overview

Identifying ‘complex needs’ among claimants of benefits is of key importance. It can help people with DWP decisions where good reason is in question and can offer protection where benefits would otherwise be stopped. It can also be important in deciding whether a claimant should be offered a home visit by the DWP.

This webinar looks at the DWP process for identifying complex needs and how we can help our clients access additional support where appropriate.

Questions/topics covered

  • What is ‘complex needs’?
  • How can we help claimants of Universal Credit and Personal Independence Payment?
  • The different routes available including how and when to: escalate a case; involve the partnership manager; use the complaints process.
  • Why is the additional needs tab important for Universal Credit claimants?
